The apartment
The practical one — and the best-placed
Bernini Lodge is ten square metres larger than Rubens and laid out differently: two bedrooms plus a separate living room, all on one level, on the third floor (no lift). That combination — space, a sitting room you can actually sit in, and everything on one floor — is what makes it the easier choice for families and for longer stays.
The sleeping arrangement is one large double bed and two single beds, which works as well for a family of four as for two couples. There is a fully equipped kitchen with fridge and coffee machine, a bathroom with shower and bidet, air conditioning in every room, and — the detail long-stay guests care about — a washing machine.
Via del Corallo is a short, quiet street a few doors from Piazza Navona. Guests scored the location 9.9 out of 10, the highest we have seen, and the Wi-Fi 9.4. Entry is keyless: you let yourself in from your phone, so a late flight is not a problem.

Arrival and departure
Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 10:30. Self check-in: entry is keyless and opens from your phone, so you can arrive at any time from 15:00. Luggage can usually be left before check-in.
Beds and children
One large double bed and two single beds, sleeping four across two bedrooms. Children of all ages are welcome; from the age of three they count as adults for pricing. A cot for under-2s is free on request. No extra beds are available.
Accessibility
The apartment is on the third floor and the building has no lift, so it is reached on foot by the stairs. Inside, everything is on a single level.
