Booking conditions
Last updated: August 2026
These conditions govern bookings and stays at Navona Rubens Lodge (Vicolo del Governo Vecchio 56) and Navona Bernini Lodge (Via del Corallo 15), both in 00186 Rome, Italy. By making a booking you confirm that you have read and accepted them.
1. Who you are booking with
The apartments are let on a short-term basis by JOY 4 SRL, tax code / VAT number 18413571003, of Via Magna Grecia 30/A, 00183 Rome, Italy (Rome Companies Register no. RM-1782917). Contact: info@navonalodge.com.
Italian national identification codes (CIN):
- Navona Rubens Lodge — IT058091C2KYEZQZTU
- Navona Bernini Lodge — IT058091C2KYEZQZTU
2. Booking and confirmation
A request sent through this site is not a booking. The contract is formed when we send you written confirmation setting out the dates, the number of guests, the total price and how to pay.
Bookings are personal and may not be transferred without our written consent. The person booking must be of age and is responsible for the conduct of everyone in the party.
3. Prices and payment
Unless stated otherwise, the confirmed price includes water, electricity, gas, heating and air conditioning, bed linen and towels, and the final clean.
Direct bookings are paid in full at the time of booking by credit or debit card, through a secure payment processed by our booking system.
4. Tourist tax
The City of Rome tourist tax is not included in the price. It is charged per person per night, subject to the duration limits and exemptions set out in the city's current regulations, at the rate in force on the dates of your stay.
5. Cancellations and changes
Direct bookings are non-refundable: once confirmed, the amount paid is not returned in the event of cancellation, and this is reflected in the lower price offered for booking direct. Date changes may be granted at our discretion, subject to availability; please write to us on WhatsApp before your arrival.
No-shows without notice and stays cut short after arrival do not qualify for a refund.
6. Arrival and departure
Check-in from 15:00; check-out by 10:30. Both apartments have self check-in; please tell us your approximate arrival time. Arrivals outside these hours can be arranged and, if they require additional service, may carry a supplement, which we will always tell you about beforehand.
At check-in every guest must show valid photo identification: Italian law (Art. 109 TULPS) requires us to report guests' details to the public security authority.
7. Occupancy and house rules
- Each apartment sleeps a maximum of 4 people. You may not exceed that number or accommodate anyone not named in the booking.
- No smoking anywhere in the apartments.
- No pets.
- No parties or events.
- Please respect the neighbours' rest, particularly between 22:00 and 08:00.
- A cot for children under 2 is free on request, subject to availability. No extra beds are available.
Serious or repeated breaches of these rules entitle us to terminate the contract and require you to vacate the apartment immediately, with no refund.
8. Damage
You are responsible for damage caused to the apartment, its contents and the common parts during your stay. Please report any damage promptly. No security deposit is required.
9. Liability
We are not liable for theft or loss of belongings left in the apartment, nor for inconvenience caused by interruptions to public utilities (electricity, water, internet) outside our control. If an event beyond our control makes the apartment unusable, we will offer equivalent alternative accommodation or, failing that, refund in full the amounts received for the period you cannot use.
10. Complaints, governing law and jurisdiction
Please send complaints to info@navonalodge.com — we will look for a quick and reasonable solution.
The contract is governed by Italian law. Guests who qualify as consumers keep the right to bring proceedings before the court of their place of residence or domicile under Art. 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code, and the option of using mediation and alternative dispute resolution bodies.
